PET FOOD
DAWG appreciates these quality brand pet foods: Costco (Kirkland) dog, Fancy Feast canned and dry cat food, canned dog food, or any good quality food.
SPECIAL PET FOOD
Dogs and cats occasionally need specialty food to meet their individual nutritional requirements. Examples include allergies, joint pain, health/age related concerns, pregnancy, sensitive digestion and senior or puppy/kitten needs.
COLLARS, 6FT LEASHES, AND HARNESSES
Walkers use this equipment on a daily basis. Replacement is an on-going process.
TOYS
Cats love interactive cat toys. The dogs love tennis balls, Jolly balls and KONG toys. Only black or red KONG chew toys are permitted in their kennels.
TOWELS/FLEECE BLANKETS
Full size towels are needed to clean the kennel area, wipe dogs after their walks in inclement weather and after baths. Towels are also used in foster homes and the cat cottage.
CLUMPING CAT LITTER
Clumping cat litter helps keep the cat cottage fresh and the dust levels low, which is good for both the cats and their caregivers. Scoop Away, Littermaid and Arm & Hammer are good brands.
